February-March — during the Carnival · Nice · Promenade des Anglais
« Twenty floats, thousands of flowers thrown, and a century and a half of Niçois tradition. »

The rendezvous
The Battle of Flowers, held during the Carnival, is one of the oldest Niçois traditions. Twenty flowered floats parade along the Promenade des Anglais, from which flowers are thrown to the public, in a choreography inherited from the 19th century.
The event draws a dense public in mid-afternoon. Promenade accesses close in sections; the House drives to the tribune entrances by the back streets.

The House during the event
Guests attached to a hotel of the carré d'or or quai des États-Unis are conveyed without joining the saturated axes. The House anticipates returns as soon as the floats finish their passage in front of the official tribunes.
