« Cannes is a stage — the curtain rises in May and does not fall again until autumn. »
I
A portrait of the place
Cannes is a city of facade. Its Croisette, three kilometres long, is a permanent theatre: palaces facing the sea, yachts moored a few cables out, black motorcars in waiting. Behind it, the Suquet preserves the soul of the old town, and the inland hills shelter the villas the street ignores.
Maison Vehira serves here the guests of the great Croisette hotels, the invited of the Festival, the professional markets (MIPIM, Cannes Lions, MIPCOM) that punctuate the year, and the yachts moored at the Vieux-Port as at Pierre Canto. It is also one of the cities where the Maison operates most regularly, owing to its immediate proximity to the Cannes-Mandelieu Airport, gateway for private jets.
Cannes has two faces: the theatre-city, from May to autumn, pulsing with arrivals, soirées and red carpets ; and the off-season city, more peaceful, where the Maison willingly serves residents and families on discreet escapes.
II
The Maison in Cannes
Vehira has operated in Cannes from the start. Its chauffeurs know the concealed accesses of the Croisette palaces, the dedicated entrances of the Palais des Festivals, the particular protocols of the great gala soirées. They know how to park on the spaces reserved for service vehicles, how to wait without weight, how to depart without noise.
The Maison habitually serves at the exit of the palaces for transfers to Nice or Cannes-Mandelieu, in by-the-hour service during the market weeks, and for the conveyance of guests to the Festival soirées. It also serves the yachts moored at the Vieux-Port and at Pierre Canto during the Yachting Festivals.
Its motorcars are Mercedes S-Class or E-Class, all dark in Its motorcars are Mercedes S-Class or E-Class, all dark in colour, all maintained with irreproachable exigency. For families with children, the Maison fits the motorcar with child seats suited to the family's composition.

The addresses of the Maison
Vehira regularly serves the guests of the great Croisette palaces, without permitting itself to name them. It is known to several Cannes concierges, to the yacht clubs of both ports, and to the audiovisual productions that orchestrate the appearances of personalities. The Maison also attends the high towns — La Californie, Super-Cannes — on prior instruction.
For yachts in port at the Vieux-Port or at Pierre Canto, the Maison applies a particular by-the-hour protocol at the quayside, with parking on dedicated spaces. Several commanders and owners entrust their crews to it during the Yachting Festivals.
V
The Cannes attachment
For the weeks of the Festival and beyond
For invitees of the Cannes Film Festival staying several days, for delegations of Cannes Lions or MIPIM, and for families renting a villa for the season, Maison Vehira proposes an attachment of a week or more. A single chauffeur is then dedicated, with reserved motorcar, schedules adapted to the Festival's rhythm, and precise knowledge of daily engagements.
This attachment allows the Cannes pressure to be absorbed — the traffic saturation, the unpredictability of soirées that run late, the programme changes — without the guest having to concern themselves with it.
