« Antibes is the port where the greatest sailing-yachts of the Mediterranean moor. »

I

A portrait of the place

Antibes is three cities in one. The old town fortified by Vauban, intact, where one wanders between Provençal market and the Picasso museum. The Port Vauban, the largest marina in Europe, where the Quai des Milliardaires hosts the superyachts that exceed sixty metres. And the Cap, a residential peninsula, where the pinewoods, the enclosed villas, and one of the most discreet palaces in the world line up.

Maison Vehira serves here the guests of the Cap, the commanders and invitees of the Port Vauban yachts, and all those whom the Festival or Yacht Show seasons bring to Antibes in port. The contrast between the Cap's intimacy and the port's effervescence makes the richness of the service to render.

Antibes is also the home port of many international families who reside here part of the year. The Maison therefore operates continuously, summer and winter, with particular attention to confidentiality.

II

The Maison in Antibes

Vehira has operated in Antibes from the start, with a particularly marked presence at the Quai des Milliardaires. Its chauffeurs know the concealed accesses of the Cap, the service entrances of the palaces, the particular protocols of the commanders, and the time-windows when the quay becomes accessible again.

The Maison habitually serves the Cap's guests for transfers to Nice or Cannes-Mandelieu, the yachts moored in extended by-the-hour service, and the Cannes Film Festival invitees who reside at the Hôtel du Cap rather than in Cannes. It also serves yachts in pre-positioning before the Monaco Yacht Show, where the motorcars accompany the crew to the Port Hercule.

For extended stays at the Quai des Milliardaires, the Maison has a particular parking protocol, with waiting on the car park dedicated to services in immediate proximity.

IV

The addresses of the Maison

Vehira regularly serves the guests of the Cap d'Antibes palaces — the Maison permits itself not to name them. It is known to the Antibes concierges, to the commanders and attachés of the Port Vauban, and to the international resident families of the Cap. The Maison also attends Juan-les-Pins, the Old Town, and the enclosed villas of the inland-Cap on prior instruction.

For yachts in port at the Quai des Milliardaires or the Port Vauban, the Maison applies its habitual by-the-hour protocol at the quayside, with a chauffeur dedicated for the duration. Several commanders engage it for their crews during the Yachting Festivals and the extended summer stays.

V

The Antibois attachment

For Cap villas and yachts in extended stay

For families residing all or part of the year in a Cap villa, for yachts in extended stay at the Quai des Milliardaires, Maison Vehira proposes a seasonal or annual attachment. A single chauffeur is then dedicated, with reserved motorcar, and a fine knowledge of accesses, hours, and passages.

This attachment is particularly suited to Antibes, where the duration of stays and the confidentiality required make the continuity of the chauffeur an essential condition of the service rendered.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get from Antibes to Nice Airport?

Allow 25 minutes door to door, for some 22 kilometres by the A8, exit 44. In July and August, crossing Villeneuve-Loubet can add a quarter of an hour: the Maison brings the departure forward accordingly.

Does the Maison serve the yachts at Port Vauban?

Yes. It applies at the Quai des Milliardaires the same protocol as in Monaco and Cannes: parking on service spaces, waiting without display, collection of crews as well as owners. Movements are settled with the captain or the chief steward.

Can a chauffeur enter the old town of Antibes?

No, the area within the ramparts is pedestrian or of very restricted access. Setting down takes place at Porte Marine, Place Guynemer or Avenue de Verdun depending on the address. The chauffeur carries the luggage to the edge of the district where the distance allows.

How many passengers can the Maison carry in Antibes?

From 1 to 3 passengers in a Mercedes E-Class or S-Class, up to 7 passengers in a Mercedes V-Class. For larger parties — crews, delegations — the Maison arranges a convoy coordinated by a lead chauffeur.
