Bravade of Saint-Tropez

16, 17 and 18 May · Saint-Tropez · village et port

« Three days of bravade, and Saint-Tropez finds its patron saint again. »

I

The rendezvous

The Bravade of Saint-Tropez, from 16 to 18 May, is the village's historic patronal feast. Over a hundred bravadeurs in 18th-century costume parade through the streets to the sound of drums and muskets, in tribute to the saint who gives the village its name.

The village closes almost entirely to traffic; access is on foot from the outskirts. The House drops off at the outer limit of the processions and picks up its guests at the exit, according to the precise unfolding of the three days.

The House during the event

For guests staying on the peninsula, the House schedules arrivals and returns around procession hours. Transfers to Nice or Mandelieu are anticipated to avoid roads progressively reopened at the end of each procession.
