Yacht & quayside

Antibes · Monaco · Cannes · Portofino

« The motorcar waits at the quayside. The sea decides. The Maison follows. »

I

The service

By the yachts moored in Antibes, Monaco, Cannes, Portofino, Maison Vehira operates a particular service: by-the-hour attendance at the quayside, for guests, owners and crews.

The service consists of the discreet presence of one or several motorcars in immediate proximity to the yacht, ready to depart at any hour, for the errands of the day, the transfers of guests, the movements of the crew on leave, or the conveyance of guests to the Festival soirées and events.

Vehira remains at the quayside for as long as the mission requires — a single journey, a day, a week, sometimes the entire duration of the Mediterranean stay.

II

The clientele served by the Maison

The yacht & quayside service is intended for owners of yachts moored on the Riviera, their guests, and their crews on extended stays. It is also intended for brokers, attachés and captains who organise the ground movements associated with the life of the vessel.

  • Owners on arrival and throughout the stay
  • Invited guests conveyed to the quayside, then on board
  • Crews shore leave, errands, nocturnal returns
  • Captains & commanders coordination of land movements
  • Brokers & attachés accompanying prospects and clients

IV

The course of the mission

How a day at the quayside unfolds

The Maison receives in advance the useful indications: name of the yacht, length of stay, likely hours of departure, approximate identity of the guests to be transported. This preparation allows for anticipating needs without having to ask at each journey.

The Grande Remise chauffeur takes his position in immediate proximity to the yacht according to the commander's instructions — on the dedicated car park, along the promenade, or discreetly parked a few metres away. He waits without pressure, ready to move in the minute. His motorcar is black, his suit dark, his conversation measured to the extreme.

The habitual journeys departing from the quayside are transfers to the helipads, soirées at the Casino de Monte-Carlo, luncheons in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, errands in Cannes or in Milan, arrivals and departures at Nice or Cannes-Mandelieu airports. For the crews, the Maison organises shore leaves and nocturnal returns.
